Sliding Bahama Shutter Hardware Kit

This Sliding Aluminum Bahama Shutter Hardware Kit by Lynn Cove Foundry includes all you need to hang 1 Bahama Shutter and keep open with a pair of Fixed Length 24" Bermuda Shutter Stays.

Extruded Aluminum Sliding Bahama Shutter Hinge Set:

• Extruded Aluminum Sliding Bahama Shutter Hinge Set - Powder Coat Black
• 48" Long - Field Cut To Length
• FASTENERS NOT INCLUDED
• FASTENER HOLES NOT PRE-DRILLED - Field Drill to Suit
• Set consists of 2 components - when combined, assembly provides 1 1/2" gap from surface (see diagram below for typical installation)
• Traditional installation mounts bar to face of shutter

INSTALLATION SUGGESTIONS:

• Hinge Set will support a shutter weight of up to 200 lbs.
• Structure Hinge - Recommend a screw along the length mounting to the structure every 9” with at least 2” of penetration
• Shutter Hinge - Recommend a screw along the length mounting to the shutter every 12” with at least 3/4” penetration
• The structure & shutter hinge center-line is marked with small groove for fastener positioning

Weather resistant; These Bahama shutter stays also feature locking mounting brackets so that the shutter can be closed and fastened if a storm approaches.

Bahama Shutter Stay Cut To Length

These Bahama Shutter Stays can be field cut to length. The bracket shoulder can be removed by loosening the set screw with an allen key (included) and bar can be cut to any desired length.

Bahama Shutter Stay Typical Installation

These Bahama Shutter Stays allow the shutters to be positioned at various angles. They can be opened just a little to allow airflow, or more to provide shade.
