A new beach front built in Stone Harbor, NJ features a beautiful concept with patio privacy shutter double doors to allow for portions of the surrounding exterior deck to be closed off. Offering protection from the elements as well, both sun and wind.
This installation included all that was needed to complete the project to create self closing & latching privacy double doors. The louvered shutter stiles are more narrow than standard gates and doors so the narrow profile of the case latch was the right fit for the job. The combination of spring hinges and spring latch ensure the door is secured shut whether in use or not. The cane bolt serves as the most secure method of securing the inactive door.
Note the installation of the gate stop is on the top of the doors due to the tight gap of the shutters
