A 1 1/2" Thick Cedar Double Gate installed over a paver driveway yard entrance in Moorestown, NJ needed a contemporary latch, cane bolt and functional butt hinges to match the desired aesthetic. This "between two posts" installation is accomplished with the addition of structural jambs to the masonry columns to allow for mortised heavy duty butt hinges. The installation of the contemporary 20" cane bolt to the inactive door is all you need to accomplish the same look and function. Don't forget the gate stop installed on the passage door!
