Stainless Steel Lift-Off Shutter Hinge

This stainless steel square corner shutter hinge is a mortise type shutter hinge that mounts perpendicular to the building and onto the side of the shutter. The shutters close into the window opening.

Common around the Civil War to well into the 20th century, these hinges utilize a single stainless steel pin to allow for easier installation and removal of a shutter for maintenance purpose.
