This solid bronze thumb latch with spade end design is made to fit gates up to 2 3/4" thick and can be thumb activated on both sides. Can be installed on in-swing and out-swing gates.

True to Rustic Gate Hardware Styling, the gate thumb latch by Coastal Bronze, once installed outdoors, will darken to an old-penny brown then eventually to a greenish/blue patina. These colors compliment the browns and greens in nature and do not distract from the natural beauty of the landscape.

GATE STOP WARRANTY ADVISORY - If a gate stop is not installed on your gate, the risk of damage to the gate and its hardware is increased and as a result, normal usage of the gate can result in fractured handles and hinges. This simple piece of hardware can help prevent unnecessary damage to your gate and gate hardware. In the event of damage, the Coastal Bronze warranty is voided if no gate stop is installed (or doesn't exist in another form such as a jamb stop). Inanimate objects placed on the ground do not qualify as a gate stop.
