Cast Iron Lift-Off Shutter Hinge

This cast iron Acme Lull & Porter (ALP) mortised shutter hinge set by John Wright Company are edge-mounted, mortised install and traditionally used for shutters.

The once-patented cam system locks the hinge in the open position. The shutter can also be removed completely without tools. Each set contains 2 left-hand hinges, 2 right-hand hinges, 2 sets of fasteners, and matching black zinc plated screws — enough shutter hardware to complete one window

This fastener is typically used to secure shutters in the closed position. Wood screws are provided. If you are mounting the catch on another material, additional screws or anchors may be required.

For large or heavy shutters or in areas subject to strong winds, two catches per shutter may be required. Includes latch (hook), mounting base for the latch (hatch), keeper, and No. 8 by 1” mounting screws.
