Technically, these Cast Brass Exterior Shutter Catches by Seaside Shutters can be referred to as shutter dogs. The shutter bullet catches perform the same function as a traditional shutter dog, however, they hold the shutter open on the backside so it is not viewable; also known as a hidden stay. All names aside, Seaside Shutter Hardware is made from 100% Brass (60% copper/40% zinc) and because of this will never rust and will last much longer than any steel or iron products.
All of Seaside Shutter hardware items are available in 1 standard finish (Black - US19) and 5 custom finishes. Limited Lifetime Warranty is 5 years and applies only to the functions of the product. Finish Warranty is 2 years and does not cover weather damage or harsh environments.
Custom finishes and custom orders are not returnable except for defective products. Lead time for custom finishes are 6-8 weeks. Please inquiry on stock availability prior to purchasing.
