Wrought Iron Door Clavos

This brown rust finish large square pyramid wrought iron door clavos adds a creative iron accent to solid wood passage doors, wood gates, garage doors, furniture and even shutters.

Powder coat finish and hand hammered to perfection; no two pieces are alike.

We commonly hear clavos referred to as a door stud, rustic nail, decorative nail, door button or mexican nail.

Clavos Installation Tips:

  • Clavos are decorative nails and install the same way as a typical nail
  • We suggest the use of rubber or wood mallet to secure the nails so as not to scratch the powder coat finish
  • If your door is metal, drilling a small pilot hole helps fastening
  • If your door is hollow (or otherwise filled with anything other than wood), we suggest a quick coating of adhesive on the nail shank
